Community Outreach Program
The MetroWest Humane Society has a community outreach program for people who need assistance to adequately feed the cats in their care. The residents in the MetroWest area have been extremely generous with food donations to MWHS, which in turn enables us to enhance our services to the community.
Currently food packets can be found in the following locations:
- SMOC MetroWest Harvest Food Pantry in Framingham
- Senior Center building in Ashland
- Holliston Food Pantry in Holliston
- St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Framingham
The bags include the brand of the food and also a contact number, should someone need assistance in spaying or neutering his/her pet. Dog food is also distributed when it is donated to us.

MWHS is also working with the new Metrowest PetPantry to help pet owners who need assistance to feed and care for their animals. See their website http://www.metrowestpetpantry.org/ for more information and to register for assistance. Their website also includes instructions for donors.
