Sponsor-A-Cage Program
Some of the cats in our care have never had the opportunity to experience a home of their own, but it doesn’t mean they can’t be shown love and attention. One way to make sure that these cats, as well as the more adoptable ones, receive the care and comfort they deserve is by sponsoring a specific cat or a group of cats in a particular room. It’s easy to do and it’s custom designed by you! Here’s how it works.:
- Our 1st and 2nd floor rooms have cages that can be individually sponsored. The 3rd floor of the shelter is our “Sunshine Room”, with a suite of five free-roam rooms for our semi-feral cats. This area is bright and sunny, has no individual cages, a forest of cat trees, and lots of comfy places for the cats to lounge. Two of the 5 rooms are very large and house 25-30 cats. By sponsoring a room number (1-5), you’ll get a different picture each month of the cats currently residing there.
- Please meet our shelter kitties, look for their location within the description of each record and send in the Sponsor-A-Cage form with your first monthly payment. You select the cage or room number that you would like to sponsor throughout the year and indicate the amount of your monthly donation ($5.00 minimum, please.) Each month you will receive a pledge reminder and picture of the cat(s) you are sponsoring. This special program is a wonderful way to help us care for our animals and is especially important because it allows us to budget your donations for our monthly expenses.
Please Note: You can make your monthly donation by credit card (saving your time and the cost of postage). And if you prefer, you can receive your reminder and picture via email. Please indicate this as your preference and include your email address. Consider giving a cage sponsorship as a gift for someone – you’ll receive the monthly pledge card, and the photos of the cats will be mailed to the person receiving your gift.
