Buddy

Buddy was born in the woods of Natick Village in May of 2003. He spent months staring in my patio door with that familiar feral look – so needy yet completely terrified. With the help of MWHS, Buddy was trapped and placed in a loving home. He was extremely frightened for many months and spent the first several weeks hiding in a closet.

His new owners were willing to provide the patience and kindness he needed in order to trust them. Now he greets them at the door and is quite chatty when they come home every night. He took to their other cat, Peekie, who was also quite timid and has helped to socialize her. Buddy’s owners have fallen in love with him and realize it is worth taking a chance on a feral cat, for they can return so much love once they feel safe. Andrea has helped many cats at Natick Village and sent us this nice note. She was responsible for finding Buddy his new home.
