Dear Sheryl and the Staff who cared for Jacqui: My husband Jim Miller and I adopted beautiful black Jacqui a week ago last Wednesday. She has settled in beautifully and her hair is growing longer each day. She is so loving and is turning out to be a really active and funny cat. She will thunder down the hallway throwing her mouse ahead of her. She lets us know when it is time for her Fancy Feast treat with a special voice. What a joy she is and we could not have picked a better loving companion. Thank you for all you do and for giving life back to Jacqui. I wish Silverado was declawed (we would NEVER do that to a cat) because that cat touched my heart. I was able to pat him/her for a considerable amount of time to my great surprise. Let us know if you get more declawed, because we think Jacqui would enjoy some pals. Best wishes for a very happy New Year for you and the kitties. Jill
