Ebony

Ebony

I adopted "Ebony" from you June 19th of 2005. I was almost won over by two adorable calico kittens but I made myself stay with my original intention of adopting ONE cat. I know kittens are much easier to adopt out than cats and I didn't think I wanted to go through the "crazed kitten" stage of development. I wanted a cat who needed a home and would fit into my "family".

I met "Ebony" who had been in a foster home. Apparently she'd been given up when she became pregnant. She was hardly more than a kitten herself. My other cat, Gus, loves her and they bonded very quickly. Gus has become less of a couch potato since she's had Ebony to play with. She was overweight and has lost about a pound since Ebony joined her.

Ebony

Ebony is doing great. She is a living definition of the word "sweet". Gus loves her very much. Even though Ebony is younger and much smaller than Gus (a Maine Coon), Ebony is the alpha kitty. Ebony loves to play "sheep herder" with Gus. If Gus is moving in one direction, Ebony likes to cut her off at the pass and make her move another direction. I love her dearly. Gus also adores her. Thanks for the great work you do. Mary M
